I’m starting to get a bit worried about the fact that I haven’t bought any books for university. I wouldn’t even know where to start. If anyone doing geology in Cardiff University can help, which books would you recommend for the course?
I came close to acing the hazard perception, I got 70 out of 75.
I got 45 out of 50 on the multiple choice section.

Man, it’s gonna be raining on my birthday. It doubly sucks because it means I won’t get to see the meteor shower this year :(
Cleaning my room I discovered my old kickboxing certificate :) reminded me it’s been a long time since I kicked anyone’s ass.
Omg I am home and everything is wonderful. Hopefully I’ll get some weed tonight. My family loved their presents and I’ve had a fantastic (proper) cup of tea. Life is good.

Apparently the way my surname is spelled is quite odd. Most of the time it’s ‘Haynes’, not ‘Haines’. In the discharge lounge of the hospital, this woman comes over to me (I say ‘this woman’, it was one of the sisters) and says “we share something in common”. Turns out her surname is the same as mine, so the obvious ‘maybe we’re related’ joke came up. Then she told be she was from Barry, near Penarth where my dad’s side of the family comes from. Well there we are then.
P.S, my surname comes up as a spelling error, while ‘Haynes’ does not. Hmm…
